1967 — Chevrolet Impala

This right hand drive, 4 door sedan is New Zealand new and was built in Canada for the export market (New Zealand, Australia and South Africa). Chevrolet made several different styles of Impala. A sedan like this one is considered one of the least sporty….and arguably the least desirable of the body styles….it was pretty much the standard family sedan of its day!

There are still quite a few of these NZ new 1967 Impalas on the road here in New Zealand. We’ve come across 3 at Beach Hop 2024, spotted another at the Tui Brewery in Mangatainoka and know of another couple in the South Island. If you own one we’d love to hear from you!
